Description

A delightful BBQ Chicken Flatbread topped with tender chicken, melted cheese, and fresh toppings that brings together flavors of summer cookouts and family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 flatbread (whole wheat or traditional)
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Spread the BBQ sauce over the flatbread.
  3. Top with shredded chicken.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese and red onion over the chicken.
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped cilantro.
  7. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

You can prepare the flatbread with toppings in advance and refrigerate. The air fryer can also be used for a quicker cooking method.
