Description

A delightful twist on traditional breakfast sandwiches, featuring layers of crispy bacon, creamy avocado, and melted cheese between toasted whole grain bread.


Ingredients

  • 3 slices of whole grain bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 slices of smoked bacon
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1 ripe tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1 avocado, mashed
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Fresh lettuce leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon until crispy in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Fry the eggs in the same skillet with butter, seasoning to taste.
  3. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  4. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
  5. Layer lettuce, tomato, and bacon on the first slice.
  6. Add the second slice of bread with mashed avocado on top.
  7. Place the cooked eggs and cheddar cheese on top of the avocado.
  8. Cap with the final slice of bread, mayo side down, and secure with toothpicks if needed.

Notes
