Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Cheesy Garlic Bread Lasagna Skillet that combines the flavors of garlic bread and lasagna in one dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 9 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 slices of garlic bread, cut into pieces

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce, broken lasagna noodles, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Cover and cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and garlic bread pieces.
  7. Cover and let it sit for 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated.
