Description

These fluffy pancake poppers are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, making breakfast a delightful experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Toppings of your choice (maple syrup, fruits, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the milk, egg, and melted butter until blended smoothly.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  4. Preheat your non-stick pan over medium heat.
  5. Using a spoon or ice cream scoop, drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the pan.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip each popper with a spatula and cook until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with desired toppings.

Notes

For perfect results, cook a small test popper first. Adjust heat as needed to avoid burning.
