Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease your mini muffin tin generously.
- Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Combine buttermilk, egg, and melted butter in another bowl. Whisk until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix gently to combine.
- Fill muffin tin cavities about 3/4 full with batter.
- Add your chosen toppings generously on top of each popper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool slightly in the tin before removing and serve warm.
