- 1 lb fresh, skinless salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- Bang Bang Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lime juice
Instructions
- Prepare the salmon: Cut your fresh salmon fillets into 1-inch cubes and pat them dry gently.
- Set up your breading station: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in the second, and panko mixed with spices in the third.
- Coat the salmon: Dust salmon in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and roll in panko, pressing lightly.
- Heat the oil: In a skillet, heat about an inch of vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the salmon bites: Fry them in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Prepare the Bang Bang sauce: Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
- Serve: Plate the fried bites, drizzle with sauce, and enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter version, consider using an air fryer or baking. Pair with jasmine rice or fresh salad for a complete meal.
