Description

Crispy on the outside, tender salmon on the inside, drizzled with a creamy Bang Bang sauce, these bites are perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh, skinless salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • Bang Bang Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the salmon: Cut your fresh salmon fillets into 1-inch cubes and pat them dry gently.
  2. Set up your breading station: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in the second, and panko mixed with spices in the third.
  3. Coat the salmon: Dust salmon in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and roll in panko, pressing lightly.
  4. Heat the oil: In a skillet, heat about an inch of vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the salmon bites: Fry them in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Prepare the Bang Bang sauce: Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
  7. Serve: Plate the fried bites, drizzle with sauce, and enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, consider using an air fryer or baking. Pair with jasmine rice or fresh salad for a complete meal.
