Ingredients

- 2 cups Shredded Chicken
- 1 medium Onion
- 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs (Parsley or Mint)
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Ginger
- 1 package Phyllo Pastry
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Sauté the Onion in olive oil until soft and translucent.
- Combine the filling ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
- Prepare the phyllo dough by cutting it into long strips.
- Assemble the briouats by placing filling on one end of the strip and folding into a triangular shape.
- Arrange briouats seam-side down on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden-brown.
Notes
Keep phyllo dough covered with a damp towel to prevent drying out. Can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking.
