Description

A delightful twist on a classic grilled cheese, featuring a rich garlic butter crust and a gooey blend of mozzarella and cheddar.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 4 slices of sturdy bread (sourdough or ciabatta)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Mix well until you achieve a cohesive spread.
  2. Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place two slices of bread butter-side down on a clean surface and sprinkle half of the cheese over each slice.
  4. Top with the remaining slices of bread, butter-side up.
  5. Heat a skillet over low heat and cook the sandwiches for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese melts.
  6. Slice in half and serve immediately.

Notes

For a crispy finish, press down on the sandwiches while they cook. Prepare garlic butter ahead of time for quicker assembly.
