- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 4 slices of sturdy bread (sourdough or ciabatta)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Mix well until you achieve a cohesive spread.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place two slices of bread butter-side down on a clean surface and sprinkle half of the cheese over each slice.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, butter-side up.
- Heat a skillet over low heat and cook the sandwiches for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese melts.
- Slice in half and serve immediately.
Notes
For a crispy finish, press down on the sandwiches while they cook. Prepare garlic butter ahead of time for quicker assembly.
