- 2 slices of bread (any type)
- 1/2 cup of shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, gouda, or havarti)
- 1/4 cup of fresh blueberries
- Butter for spreading
- Optional: Drizzle of honey or maple syrup
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the skillet.
- Layer the cheese on top of the bread, followed by the blueberries.
- Place the second slice of bread on top, butter-side up.
- Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then carefully flip.
- Cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, drizzle with honey or maple syrup, if desired, and serve hot.
