Description

A delightful twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring gooey melted cheese and fresh blueberries for a sweet and savory experience.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (any type)
  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, gouda, or havarti)
  • 1/4 cup of fresh blueberries
  • Butter for spreading
  • Optional: Drizzle of honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the skillet.
  4. Layer the cheese on top of the bread, followed by the blueberries.
  5. Place the second slice of bread on top, butter-side up.
  6. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then carefully flip.
  7. Cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from skillet, drizzle with honey or maple syrup, if desired, and serve hot.

Notes
