Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs for 6-7 minutes, then transfer them to an ice bath to cool.
  2. Peel the eggs carefully and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, water, sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes to create the marinade.
  4. Place the peeled eggs in a container and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are fully submerged.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to develop.
  6. Before serving, garnish with chopped green onions.
