- 2 cups Hungry Jack Pancake Mix
- 1 ½ cups water
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a mini muffin pan.
- Brown the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through and crispy. Drain excess grease and set aside.
- Combine the pancake mix and water in a mixing bowl until smooth, leaving out any lumps.
- Stir in the cooked sausage, shredded cheese, and maple syrup until evenly mixed.
- Fill each muffin cup about three-quarters full with the batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with additional maple syrup for dipping.
Notes
Make-ahead by preparing the sausage and mix the night before. Adapt for an air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes.
