- 1 package egg roll wrappers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, green onions, garlic powder, and onion powder until well blended.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface and place about 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture in the center.
- Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to seal.
- Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add more jalapeños or use spicy cheese.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before frying.
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
