Description

A simple and delicious no-knead artisan bread infused with dill and Gouda cheese, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1/2 cup shredded Gouda cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add the warm water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Fold in the shredded Gouda cheese and chopped dill.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for 12-18 hours.
  5. After resting, preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a Dutch oven inside to heat up.
  6. Once the oven is hot, carefully remove the Dutch oven and place the dough inside (you can shape it if desired).
  7. Cover and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
