Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions, using eggs, oil, and water.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Once baked, let the cake cool for 10 minutes.
- Poke holes in the cake using a fork.
- In a bowl, mix the orange gelatin with boiling water until dissolved, then stir in the orange juice.
- Pour the gelatin mixture over the cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours to set.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then fold in the whipped topping.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the chilled cake.
- Garnish with orange zest before serving.
