Description

A flavorful dish featuring golden-brown chicken with a crisp, cheesy crust smothered in a rich, creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 thin chicken cutlets
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan (for sauce)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare chicken by seasoning with salt and pepper.
  2. Coat each cutlet in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat in breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture.
  3. Pan-fry cutlets in olive oil for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
  4. Make the sauce by melting butter, adding garlic, chicken broth, and cream; simmer and thicken.
  5. Combine the chicken with the sauce and garnish with parsley or thyme.
  6. Serve with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.

Notes

Consider making the breading a day in advance. Avoid overcrowding the pan while frying to ensure a crispy crust.
