- 1 lb ground beef
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
- Optional toppings: pickles, diced onions, burger sauce
Instructions
- Heat your skillet or griddle over medium-high heat until hot.
- Press a small handful of ground beef onto one half of each tortilla. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Cook the beef side down for 2–3 minutes until nicely browned.
- Flip the tortilla and sprinkle cheese over the beef.
- Fold the tortilla in half and grill for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts and the tortilla is crispy.
- Slice and serve with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Make-ahead tips: Prepare seasoned ground beef in advance and store in the fridge for up to three days. You can also bake in the oven for a healthier twist.
