Description

A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, combining the flavors of pizza with gooey cheese and crispy bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, pepperoni, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet.
  5. Cook until the bread is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve hot.
