A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, combining the flavors of pizza with gooey cheese and crispy bread.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 2 slices of mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons pizza sauce
- 1/4 cup pepperoni slices
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, pepperoni, and Italian seasoning.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet.
- Cook until the bread is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite pizza toppings.
- For a spicier version, add jalapeños or crushed red pepper flakes.
- Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
