- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons cayenne pepper

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
- 2 cups vegetable oil

Instructions
- Pound the chicken breasts to ½-inch thickness.
- Soak the chicken in buttermilk for at least 15 minutes.
- Prepare the flour mixture by whisking together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Double-Dip the chicken in the flour mixture and buttermilk to create a crispy crust.
- Heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Rest the chicken on a wire rack to keep it crispy.
Notes
For a healthier option, try air-frying at 400°F for about 12 minutes. Make the buttermilk marinade earlier for better flavor.
