Description

Delightful Crispy Chicken Caesar Sandwich featuring succulent chicken, crunchy turkey bacon, and creamy Caesar dressing, all served in a ciabatta roll.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 ciabatta rolls
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Caesar dressing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the breadcrumb mixture: In a medium bowl, mix breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat the chicken breasts in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing slightly to ensure even coverage.
  4. Place each coated breast on a prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake the chicken for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Cook the turkey bacon in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Slice the ciabatta rolls in half and layer with chopped romaine lettuce, crispy chicken, crispy turkey bacon, and Caesar dressing.
  8. Serve immediately, cut in half to reveal the layers.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the breadcrumb mixture the night before. Cooked chicken can be stored for up to two days.
