Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cherries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cold butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cherries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl. Toss gently and spread into a greased baking dish.
  3. Mix together oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  4. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the cherries.
