Description

Delicious stuffed mushrooms featuring a creamy cheese filling, crispy bacon, and fresh green onions, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  3. Mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, crumbled bacon, chopped green onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  4. Fill each mushroom cap generously with the cheese mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
  7. Serve warm as a delightful appetizer or snack.

Notes

Make them ahead of time by preparing the filling and assembling them just before baking. Can substitute regular bacon with turkey bacon for a healthier option.
