Ingredients
- Whole Wheat Dough
- Lean Turkey Pepperoni
- Low-Fat Mozzarella Cheese
- Italian Seasoning (Optional)
- Olive Oil (for brushing)
- Marinara Sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the whole wheat dough to about ¼ inch thickness.
- Cut the dough into 3-inch squares using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
- Place a piece of turkey pepperoni in the center of each square, topped with a small sprinkle of mozzarella.
- Fold the dough over the filling to form a pocket, pinching the edges together, and crimp them with a fork.
- Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
