Description

A decadent burger featuring a juicy beef patty, crispy bacon, and melted cheese, all sandwiched between warm, fluffy waffles and drizzled with maple syrup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 frozen waffles
  • 6 strips bacon
  • 2 slices cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl and form into two equal patties.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon strips until crispy. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate.
  3. Reserve 2 tablespoons of bacon fat in the skillet, then increase the heat to medium-high and cook the beef patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, adding cheese in the last minute.
  4. Toast the frozen waffles according to package directions and brush lightly with maple syrup.
  5. Assemble the burger by placing one waffle on a plate, adding a cheese-topped beef patty, three strips of bacon, and drizzling with maple syrup. Top with another waffle.

Notes

Customize your burger with toppings like pickles or lettuce. For meal prep, patties can be made ahead and refrigerated.
