Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp dried herbs (like parsley or thyme)
- Garlic powder to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into meatballs about the size of a golf ball.
- Arrange them on a greased baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- Meanwhile, boil the potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15–20 minutes.
- Drain well and mash the potatoes with milk, butter, dried herbs, garlic powder, and salt to taste.
- Serve the meatballs over the mashed potatoes, drizzling any pan juices on top.
Notes
