- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
- Optional: Pickles, diced onions, or burger sauce
Instructions
- Heat the skillet: Place your skillet over medium-high heat and allow it to warm up.
- Prepare the beef: Take a handful of ground beef and firmly press it onto one half of each tortilla; season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Cook the beef: Place the tortilla, beef side down, onto the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes until browned.
- Add cheese and fold: Flip the tortilla, sprinkle cheese over the beef, and fold it in half.
- Grill to perfection: Cook both sides for about 2 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve and enjoy: Slice into wedges and serve hot with preferred toppings.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with sautéed vegetables or black beans. Feel free to customize with different cheeses and spices.
