Description

A tantalizing fusion of burgers and quesadillas featuring seasoned ground beef, melting cheese, and crispy tortillas.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
  • Optional: Pickles, diced onions, or burger sauce

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet: Place your skillet over medium-high heat and allow it to warm up.
  2. Prepare the beef: Take a handful of ground beef and firmly press it onto one half of each tortilla; season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Cook the beef: Place the tortilla, beef side down, onto the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes until browned.
  4. Add cheese and fold: Flip the tortilla, sprinkle cheese over the beef, and fold it in half.
  5. Grill to perfection: Cook both sides for about 2 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve and enjoy: Slice into wedges and serve hot with preferred toppings.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with sautéed vegetables or black beans. Feel free to customize with different cheeses and spices.
