Description

Crispy and flavorful Spicy Potatoes that are a perfect side dish for any meal or a tasty appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
  • 3 cloves garlic, freshly minced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into even-sized cubes.
  2. Boil the cubed potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender but firm, about 10 minutes. Drain and let cool.
  3. Mix in a bowl the minced garlic, chopped cilantro, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Coat the cooled potato cubes in the flavorful dressing, ensuring all pieces are coated.
  5. Fry in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown and crispy, about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally. Serve hot.

Notes

For a healthier option, consider air frying or roasting the potatoes in the oven instead of frying.
