Description
Deliciously warm and sweet rolls filled with creamy cheesecake and fresh strawberries, topped with a sugary glaze.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 cup strawberries, chopped
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1 packet of instant yeast in a large mixing bowl.
- Whisk together 1/2 cup of warm milk, 1/4 cup of melted butter, and 1 egg in another bowl.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and knead the dough until smooth and elastic, about 8-10 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Punch down the risen dough, roll it out into a rectangle, and spread 4 oz cream cheese over it.
- Distribute 1 cup of chopped strawberries and sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar.
- Roll the dough from the long side into a cylinder and slice into 12 pieces.
- Arrange them in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk together 1 cup of powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of milk for the glaze and drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
These rolls can be made ahead of time and refrigerated overnight. They can also be customized with different fruits or flavored cream cheese.
