Description

A delightful fusion of soft naan bread topped with creamy whipped feta, briny olives, and aromatic zaatar, perfect for sharing or indulging alone.


Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Naan
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 200 grams Feta Cheese
  • 100 grams Greek Yogurt or Cream Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Zaatar
  • 100 grams Olives (mixed varieties)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Herbs (parsley or mint)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven: Set the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Whip the feta: In a mixing bowl, combine feta cheese, Greek yogurt, and garlic powder if using. Blend until creamy.
  3. Warm the naan: Place naan on a baking sheet and warm them in the oven for 5–7 minutes.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil: Pull naan from the oven and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.
  5. Spread the whipped feta: Use a spatula to spread the whipped feta mixture evenly on each naan.
  6. Sprinkle zaatar: Generously sprinkle zaatar over the feta.
  7. Add the olives: Scatter a mix of olives on top.
  8. Garnish with herbs: Sprinkle fresh herbs on top.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!: Slice into pieces and present as the star of the show.

Notes

Make the feta mixture a day in advance and store in an airtight container. You can use an air fryer for quicker preparation.
